In 1985, the American designer Thomas Jacob Hilfiger established the brand Tommy Hilfiger in the city that never sleeps, New-York. After a bitter failure, the opening of his first ready-to-wear shop – “The People’s Place”- was a great success. Tommy Hilfiger then encountered great success among students on the American campuses. The brand adopted a trendy style inspired from the uniforms of American high schools. The brand, which is proud of her relaxed and elegant style, managed to appeal to customers all around the world thanks to collaborations with international stars. Indeed, Beyoncé Knowles and Enrique Iglesias were among the ambassadors of the brand and promoted its perfumes. Tommy Hilfiger is also renowned for its famous logo, the tricoloured flag that appears on every product of the brand and more particularly on its boxer briefs. Just like numerous famous brands, Tommy Hilfiger developed its lines and collections as much as possible, like for example underwear (boxer briefs, boxer shorts) that perfectly illustrate the high quality and the know-how of this prestigious brand. Moreover, it gave a special place to its undergarments through efficient advertising campaigns and a refined design.
